Translational Science Seminar

Improving Adherence in Teens with Cystic Fibrosis

The focus of Akron Children's first Translational Science Seminar offering continuing medical education credits was on understanding and implementing ways to improve medication compliance issues in teens with cystic fibrosis through iCARE (I Change Adherence and Raise Expectations), a two-year, multicenter study. Clinical Study

Treatment for Persistent Asthma Studied
Akron Children’s is accepting patients for a six-month safety and benefit study of inhaled fluticasone with and without salmeterol. Eligible participants are children ages 4-11 years old who have been diagnosed with persistent asthma. Read more
