| Study about Amish population's vaccine concerns published |
A study led by Olivia K. Wenger, a pediatrician at the Akron Children's Hospital-Wooster office, revealed that the most common reason Amish parents don't immunize their children is because of concerns regarding the safety of vaccines, not religious beliefs. The full study was published in the July 2011 edition of Pediatrics, the official journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Read more
