Tips to remember for year-end giving

Local patient needs your vote

Ryan Anderson, a cancer patient at Akron Children's, is in the running for a national Rudy Award scholarship. Ryan was nominated by his football coach at Kent Roosevelt High School because of his courage and leadership on the team. The winner will be announced in mid January. Vote now

NICU preemie goes home after nearly two years

Since his birth in April 2010 at 25 weeks gestation, Keegan Nichols has been a part of the Akron Children's family. Earlier this month, Keegan was able to go home for the first time ever, which was cause for celebration. Read more

Calling all Change Bandits

The 2012 "Have a Heart, Do Your Part" Radiothon will broadcast live on WKDD 98.1 on Feb. 9-11. Support your children's hospital by participating as a Change Bandit and collecting donations for the most magical weekend on radio. Sign up today
